Checking In Packages

  1. Remove the mobile device from the charger. You can also deliver with the mobile device left in the charger.
  2. Tap DELIVERY.
  3. Position the screen over the entire label making sure the label is facing upright and is readable, then touch Tap to CaptureSee Tips for Capturing a Label for help on positioning the screen over the label. If the label cannot be read, a message “No tracking number found” will appear. See No Tracking Number or Tracking Number Cannot be Captured for more information.
  4. Package Valet will attempt to automatically assign the package to the recipient. If a direct match is not found, the app will show a list of suggested recipients. Tap the Recipient’s NameIf the recipient cannot be found (No matches found), you can perform a manual search. See Searching for a Recipient or Recipient Cannot Be FoundOnce a recipient is selected, the package is checked in (package delivered).
    Notes can be added to the package at this point, such as signature required, perishable, delivered to door. See If a Signature is Required or If the Package is Perishable. These notes will also appear in the delivery notification to the recipient
  5. Tap NEXT PACKAGE to continue to capture all (additional) packages.
  6. Gather all checked in packages and place them in the designated area.
  7. Tap END SESSION, then place the device in the Charger.

Note: Notifications are sent to recipients once END SESSION is tapped.

Packages are ready for recipient to pick up.

       There is no need to Sign Out of the application, you can leave the application running, ready to use for the next delivery.
