Troubleshooting - App Offline

If the Package Valet app loses Internet connection with the Portal, the Upload (cloud) and Question mark icons display red, indicating the app is offline. This is typically due to Internet (WiFi) not connected.

If the Upload (white cloud) icon appears, this indicates that there are sessions (packages checked in) that need to be synced (so recipients can receive a notification).

You can tap the Upload (cloud) button to manually start the sync operation, or wait for the system to automatically sync.

If the Package Valet is offline, you can continue to use the app to check in packages, however, recipient notifications will not be sent until the connection is re-established.

  1. Tap the “?” (information) icon in the top-left corner to show additional information.
  2. The red “Upload” (cloud) icon shows how many sessions (capture, assign recipient, check ins) have occurred while offline, however, notifications have not been sent yet. In the example above, 2 sessions have occurred while offline.
  3. Tap the Upload (cloud) icon to attempt to establish a connection.

Once a connection is re-stablished with the Portal, notifications will be sent to the recipients.
