Scanning and Placing a Package Using the Kiosk
- After you scan your KeyCard/KeyFob, scan the first package.
- Make sure the entire label is visible and the package is not moving.
- Hold the package so that the tracking UPC lines are level in front of the scanner camera.
- If you are experiencing trouble scanning a package, try to zoom in on one bar code.
- The camera will read the barcode and attempt to read the name and address of the resident to automatically assign them.
- If the recipient’s name does not appear or if there is no label to scan, manually search for the resident.
- Touch to select the recipient, if it isn’t already selected from the list.
- The door unlocks.
- Touch the type of package: Standard, Envelope or Flat, Oversized, etc.
- The system default for all packages is Standard.
- A popup indicates where to place the package in the room: Standard (shelf) area, Flat area, Oversized area, etc.
- Enter the room and place the package on any shelf in the room or in the designated area (Oversized or Flat).
- If placing in a designated area (Oversized or Envelope/Flat), touch Confirm Delivery on the screen.
- Touch Next Package to deliver additional packages or exit the room and close the door if finished delivering.
