One-Time Access PIN

If a Recipient needs access to your package room (and does not have their PIN), Staff can provide a single entry, one-time use PIN to get into the room. 
There are two ways to generate a One-Time Resident Access PIN.

Quick Actions Instructions

  1. From the Smart Package Room Portal, select the Quick Actions dropdown menu and select Send One-Time PIN.
  2. From the Select Recipient area, type in the name of the recipient.  A dropdown menu will auto populate with recipient names.
  3. Select the recipient’s name.
  4. Click Show more options:
    1. From the “Send notification via” pulldown menu, choose Email, SMS (text), or Both.
    2. Select the date you want the access to expire (default is 24 hours).

Recipient Tab Instructions
  1. From the Portal, go to the Recipients tab.
  2. Search for the Recipient you need to grant access (enter recipient’s name in Search field and click Search icon).
  3. Click the View arrow icon to select the recipient.  
  4. Click the Shield icon on the Recipient Detail View. Then, choose Send One-Time PIN.
  5. Select these additional options:
    1. From the “Send notification via” pulldown menu, choose Email, SMS (text), or Both.
    2. Select the date you want the access to expire (default is 24 hours).
  1. Click Generate.  The Recipient will receive the one-time access notification via Email, text or both, depending what you chose.
