How to Find Aged Out Packages
The Troubleshoot section of the kiosk can give you
information about aged out packages, packages that have been sitting in your
package room for over 3 days, 7+ days, and 15+ days. See “Storage Time” in the Smart
Package Room User’s Guide for more information, but you can also
search for aged out packages in the Portal.
Once you get the list of aged out packages, you can
then obtain the email or phone number of the recipient and send a reminder that
they have a package to pick up.
Cleaning out your room of overdue packages frees up
space for incoming deliveries. You should periodically check your room for aged
out packages.
- To quickly check for packages that
have been in your room for more than 3 days, 5 days, or 1 week+, the main
screen of the Portal displays this information in the lower-right corner.
- Click on the number of packages. The Packages page opens
and displays a list of packages that have been in the room for 7+ days.
- In the Recipient column, you can obtain
the name, email and phone number of the recipient to contact them to inform
them that they have an overdue package to pick up.
To find aged out
packages with an explicit date:
- To give an exact date to search
on, use the Check-In Date search. Click the calendar, click the date and click OK.
- Then, click the magnifying glass
and select a criterion from the menu (for example, < less than). The page populates with
the matching criteria, all packages checked-in prior to 7/5/2024. In the Recipient
column, you can obtain the name, email and phone number of the recipient to
contact them to inform them that they have an overdue package to pick up.
