Deactivating a Recipient

You can only deactivate a recipient if they were added manually (see Adding a Recipient). You cannot use this process to remove recipients who are in your Residential Data Management program (daily file).

  1. From the Portal, click the Menu button on the left and choose Recipients.
  2. Enter the Recipient’s Name and click the Apply Filter (Search) button to locate the Recipient. 
  3. Mouse over the Recipient you want to update, the area turns grey, click anywhere in that area.
  4. On the Recipient Detail page, click the Deactivate Recipient (X) button to deactivate the Recipient.
    If the recipient is deactivated, and they attempt to use a PIN/QR Code to access the room, they will receive a message “Assess Denied” on the kiosk and the door will not open. They should reach out to staff.
