Customizing a Courier or Staff PIN
If you want to assign a specific 6-digit number to
a Courier’s or Staffs PIN, you can edit their existing PIN. The system will
confirm that it is not a duplicate. You will need the Courier’s or Staffs
6-digit PIN that you are changing.
Note: This feature is only accessible for a Manager or Administrator in the Portal.
To customize a
PIN:
- From the
Portal, click the Menu button on the
left and choose Access Keys. The Access Keys page opens.
- Click the Courier (or Staff) you
want to customize the PIN for.
- Click the Edit Access Key (pencil) button.
- Click in
the New Value field, and enter the new customized 6-digit PIN.
Click Save.
The system confirms
that the PIN is not a duplicate and generates a new customized 6-digit PIN and
displays a checkmark and the PIN number in the Access Keys section of the
Courier or Staff Detail page. If an “x” appears in place of a checkmark, this
indicates that the PIN is inactive.
