Creating a PIN or QR Code for Staff

If Staff is having trouble creating a PIN for themselves, the Property Manager can create one using the following procedure.
To create a Staff PIN:
  1. From the Portal, click the Menu button on the left and choose User Admin > Staff.
  2. From the Staff page, click the Staff member you want to create a PIN for.
  3. From the Staff Detail page, click the Access Key Maintenance (shield) button on the Staff Detail page and select Generate PIN from the menu. The system generates a 6-digit PIN and displays a checkmark and the PIN number in the Access Keys section of the Staff Detail page. If an “x” appears in place of a checkmark, this indicates that the PIN is inactive.
To create a QR Code for a Staff member, follow the same steps above, but choose “Generate QR Code.”
