Creating a PIN for a Courier

In order for a Courier to access the Smart Package Room to deliver items, they will need a PIN to use at the kiosk. 

  1. From the Portal, click the Menu button on the left and choose User Admin, then Couriers.
  2. From the Courier page, click the View (arrow) button for the Courier you want to create a PIN for.
  3. From the Courier Detail page, click the Access Key Maintenance (shield) button and select Generate PIN from the menu.
    The system generates a 6-digit PIN and displays a checkmark and the PIN number in the Access Keys section of the Courier Detail page. If an “x” appears in place of a checkmark, this indicates that the PIN is inactive.
  4. Note the PIN, because you will next go to the Kiosk to assign a Key Card (for a Courier) using the PIN.
    The PIN is used to sign-in to the kiosk, you will also need the PIN to assign a Key Card. 
  5. To create a QR Code for a Courier, follow the same steps above, but choose “Generate QR Code.”
