Is a Package Perishable or Needs a Signature
The Portal allows you to assign package notes to a
delivered package. Notes can inform a recipient that their package has some
special requirement. You can add package notes, but activate when necessary. These
notes are all customizable and can include:
- Perishable – Recipient
should pick up as soon as possible
- Signature Required – If you need a
package to require a signature upon pick up
- ESD – A package might include an
electronic device
- Front Desk – A package could be
expensive and safer to place and pick up at the front desk
To add package notes to your system:
- From the Portal, click the Main menu on the left, then click Properties.
- Click to select your property. The Properties page opens.
- Scroll to the Package Notes section.
- Click the View
Package Notes (pencil) button. The

a Note (+) button. The
package Notes dialog opens.
